RockSteady
A collaborative music programme, inspiring creativity and confidence.

All children from Reception through to Year 6 have the exciting opportunity to take part in Rocksteady Music School, an external music provider who visit our school once a week to deliver fun, engaging 30-minute music lessons.
Rocksteady gives children the chance to become part of a real band, learning to play an instrument and perform together with their peers. Pupils can choose to play the piano, guitar, drums or take on vocals, regardless of previous musical experience. Lessons are designed to be inclusive, confidence-building and great fun, helping children to develop their musical skills in a supportive environment.
Through Rocksteady, children learn how to perform as part of a group, listen to one another, and work collaboratively towards a shared goal. It is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, creativity and self-expression through music.
Please note that participation is organised directly through Rocksteady. Parents will need to register their child via the Rocksteady website, and all payments are made directly to Rocksteady, separate from the school.
We are delighted to offer this opportunity, which is always hugely popular with our pupils and brings so much energy and enjoyment to the school each week.
