Aims of the Uniform

The school uniform is designed to:

•⁠ ⁠Promote pride in the school
•⁠ ⁠Create a smart and consistent appearance
•⁠ ⁠Encourage equality and inclusivity
•⁠ ⁠Be practical, comfortable, and appropriate for learning

All pupils are expected to wear the correct uniform and PE Kit. All items of school uniform need to be clearly named.

Main School Uniform

Blazer

•⁠ ⁠Dark green school blazer with embroidered school crest

Shirt

•⁠ ⁠Plain white collared shirt
•⁠ ⁠Shirts should be tucked in neatly at all times

Tie

•⁠ ⁠Green and white striped school tie
•⁠ ⁠Ties should be worn correctly with the top button fastened

Jumper / Sweater

•⁠ ⁠Branded school jumper
•⁠ ⁠May be worn underneath the blazer

Boys’ Uniform

Lower Garment

•⁠ ⁠Grey trousers
•⁠ ⁠Trousers should be full length and fit appropriately
•⁠ ⁠Shorts may be permitted in warmer months

Socks

•⁠ ⁠Plain grey

Shoes

•⁠ ⁠Plain black school shoes
•⁠ ⁠Trainers, boots, canvas shoes, or branded sports footwear are not permitted

Girls’ Uniform

Lower Garment

Girls may choose from:

•⁠ ⁠Grey skirt (pleated)
•⁠ ⁠Grey pinafore dress (Early Years & Lower School only)
•⁠ ⁠Grey tailored trousers (optional)

Skirts should be:

•⁠ ⁠Sensible school style
•⁠ ⁠Appropriate length (around knee length)

Tights / Socks

•⁠ ⁠Plain grey socks
•⁠ ⁠Plain grey or black tights no less than 80-denier (black tights for Upper School only)

Shoes

•⁠ ⁠Plain black school shoes (polishable)
•⁠ ⁠No high heels, platform soles, or trainers

Early Years Uniform (Pre-Reception & Reception)

Early Years pupils may follow the same uniform style or wear their PE kit.

They must bring in clearly named waterproofs and wellies to keep in school for wet weather play.

Hair, Jewellery & Appearance

Hair

•⁠ ⁠Hair should be neat and appropriate for school
•⁠ ⁠Long hair should be tied back
•⁠ ⁠Extreme hairstyles or unnatural colours are not permitted

Jewellery

•⁠ ⁠One small pair of stud earrings may be worn
•⁠ ⁠Watches permitted
•⁠ ⁠No necklaces, bracelets, or fashion jewellery

Makeup & Nails

•⁠ ⁠No makeup for Early Years - Lower School pupils.
•⁠ ⁠Upper School pupils should maintain a natural appearance
•⁠ ⁠False nails, nail varnish, and eyelash extensions are not permitted

Outerwear

•⁠ ⁠Coats should be plain black and suitable for weather conditions. School coats are available to buy on the school uniform website.
•⁠ ⁠Hoodies are not to be worn instead of blazers (unless they have PE or a sports club)
•⁠ ⁠Scarves, hats, and gloves should be plain black in colour and clearly named.


School Bags

•⁠ ⁠Plain black or the school branded school bag
•⁠ ⁠Younger pupils may use the school book bags

Summer Uniform (Optional)

During warmer months pupils may wear:

•⁠ ⁠Grey school shorts (boys)
•⁠ ⁠Green and white gingham dress (Early Years & Lower School)
•⁠ ⁠Short-sleeved white shirts

PE Kit

Pupils may come into school in their PE kit on the days they have PE, or if they are attending a sports club.

They should wear:

•⁠ ⁠School branded green polo top
•⁠ ⁠School hoody or the school black quarter zip
•⁠ ⁠School jogging bottoms or black shorts
•⁠ ⁠Pupils should wear either black plimsoles for the younger children or plain black trainers.


•⁠ ⁠House coloured t shirt (for Sports Day only)

Non-Compliance

Parents will be contacted where uniform expectations are not met repeatedly. The school may provide temporary uniform items where necessary.
